An idyllic village house in Palia Alonnisos
You will find Elias House on the Greek island of Alonnisos (Northern Sporadic islands).
Elias House is an old traditional Greek house with a large patio full of flowers and trees. It is situated in a quiet neighbourhood on the southeastern slope of the old village, Palia Alonnisos and with a lovely view of the village and the sea.
The house was built in the 1920s by the grandfather of Elias Tsoukanas, the owner of the house. Elias has restored the house keeping all the atmosphere of an old, village house, but giving the comfort of modern life. The 65m2 (inside measurement) house is on two floors and includes also a small annex.
You can rent this house on a weekly basis during all the summer season.
A big bedroom with two beds and exit to a veranda.
A living room with an old traditional fireplace, a table for 4 persons to eat and a large (120x 200cm), traditional iron bed. If required the room can also accommodate an extra bed. Beside the living room a fully equipped kitchen and a small toilet with a washing machine.
One step from the entrance of the house is the main bathroom.
A big fan over the beds upstairs and a moveable fan downstairs. The house remains fairly cool due to the thickness of the old stone walls (60 cm) and the big tree on the patio
This area is about 80 m2 with peaceful corners to enjoy your time at home. There is a dinning area with a table and built-in benches with pillows and there are also other tables and chairs for you to arrange as you prefer. You can find both sun and shade as the patio has trees and flowers and there is a lovely view of the sea and the village.
Cleaning of the house:
The house is cleaned once a week. The sheets and covers are change once a week and the towels twice a week. You have to carry your daily rubbish yourself to the nearest bin.
